Workshop Schedule (1-4 people):

Tuesday afternoons: 1:15 - 3:45 pm.

Friday evenings: 6:30 - 9 pm.

Saturdays and Sundays: 10 am - 12:30 pm or 2 - 4:30 pm.

With enough lead time, Tuesday or Sunday evenings and other times are available by special request.

Short-Notice Opportunities:
Life happens and so do workshop cancellations. If you’re open to short-notice opportunities, email us your preferred dates and times and share your phone number. We’ll call or text when a workshop opening pops up.
How to Book:
Auto-booking is coming! In the meantime, here’s how it works:

With a confirmed date, we’ll send an invoice payable by e-transfer or credit card. Payment secures the reservation.

Several days prior to your workshop, we’ll send our Get Ready letter highlighting what to wear, what to expect.

Your treasures will be ready for pickup in 7 to 10 business days. You’ll receive a pickup email. Important: If you’re travelling and need things sooner, do let us know at time of booking.

For the first time
The Choice is Yours
Our Option 1 and 2 workshops welcome you to the world of hot glass with a tasting menu of creating solid and blown pieces. We also offer an evolving series of workshops, each with a specific focus. All are designed with a fine time in mind. The fun starts with the choosing for the first time or your next time.
Ornament Time
Join us to create beautiful round blown glass ornaments. Add some ribbing. Choose from a range of colours and design options. Make them a gift, adorn a window or fill a bowl...those are just some of the ways your ornaments will shine. Discover a new tradition for friends or family. Each person makes 5 to a maximum of 10 ornaments.
A) 2 to 2.5 hours for 1-2 people: $318 (+tax)
B) 2 to 2.5 hours for 3-4 people. $625 (+tax)

Pumpkin Time
Come create glowing glass pumpkins. Each person makes 3-4 pumpkins, choosing from a vibrant range of colours. Each pumpkin is topped with a twisty clear stem. You keep the instructor’s demo.
A) 2 to 2.5 hours for 1-2 people: $297 (+tax)
B) 2 to 2.5 hours for 4 people: $543 (+tax)

TAKE ONGOING LESSONS
Our Approach
We aim to help you build the skills and experience to join our renter community and pursue a lifelong passion. How you progress depends on your schedule and learning pace.
We offer private lessons at $98 per hour (+tax) and each lesson is two hours long. We offer semi-private lessons at the same rate when two people start at the same time and progress together.

Let us know who’s giving the gift, the name(s) of the recipients and any special reason for choosing this extraordinary experience.

We’ll send an invoice payable by e-transfer or credit card.

With the fee paid, we’ll send you the personalized gift certificate letter highlighting the gift and next steps. Please allow a minimum 24 hours for the gift certificate email to arrive. We’ll do our best if working within a shorter time frame.

If you’d like a beautiful piece of our blown glass—small or grand—to hint at the experience to come, let us know and we’ll reserve a gallery visit with you.

You've attended a workshop. What's next? You're welcome to revisit Option 1, 2, or 3. As glassblowers say: "nothing is ever exactly the same." Plus, here are two new options to explore!
Encore Workshop
Build on your first experience exploring solid and blown pieces, making a bit more complicated work. Create items such as an apple, pulled flower, a blown pumpkin or condiment bowl. For your final piece make an approx. 10" platter or experience creating a piece using white cane. (When booking, let us know if you’d like to try the white cane option so we can prepare).
A) 2.5 hours for 1-2 people. Each person makes 2-4 pieces: $348 (+tax).
Glasses Galore
Make your own drinking glasses. In keeping with the style of glass made in your first workshop, make a set of glasses for home or gifts. Mix and match colours. Use different molds. Choose to make your last two glasses using white cane. (When booking, let us know if you’d like to try the white cane option so we can prepare).
A) 2.5 hours for 1-2 people. Each person creates: 4-6 glasses: $318 (+tax).
GREAT GATHERINGS
Corporate and private gatherings
Our gatherings focus on groups ranging from 5-20 participants at any one time. Perhaps a series of client evenings, a holiday season or birthday celebration, a group of adventurous friends or a retirement farewell. Let us know what you have in mind: date, day of the week, morning, afternoon, or evening. The longer the lead time the more flexibility, particularly in the holiday season. We’re happy to help and will provide a proposal outlining how your event will unfold.
