By fascapple glass

In general, each fascapple glass piece—whether solid, sculpted or blown—is meant to last generations when treated with care and used properly.

Important:

• Fascapple glass does NOT survive dramatic temperature changes. Pouring hot tea into handblown glass, popping it in the freezer or burning a candle flame close to the base of a glass can cause fractures or breaks. 
• NONE of fascapple glass is suited for use in a microwave or oven. Do NOT use it in this or any similar appliance.
• Glass magnifies light and pieces set at certain angles in direct sunlight can present a potential fire hazard.

Handling your glass piece:

• To avoid scratching the surface, beware of rings (particularly diamonds) or belt buckles. Wear cloth gloves or remove jewelry when handling your pieces. 
• Avoid sliding pieces across surfaces or knocking pieces together.

• Pick up a piece with two hands—one on either side. 
• Unwrap pieces on a clean, smooth surface.
• To rewrap a piece of textured matte and coated glass, use the foam sheet first and then the bubble wrap. 

Caring for your glass piece:
Shiny surface:

• Clean with a gentle glass cleaner and soft or microfibre cloth.
• For smaller pieces, handwash in lukewarm water and towel dry. 

Matte surface & coated finish:

• Whether the surface of your piece is textured or not, gently blow any excess particles off the piece and wipe with a clean microfibre cloth.
• Do NOT use a spray glass cleaner on any matte surface. If portions of the piece have a shiny surface, then use a microfibre cloth or spray glass cleaner on a cloth and wipe those areas, carefully avoiding the matte finished surface.

Caring for your drinking glasses:

• While our glasses are dishwasher safe, handwashing in lukewarm water is best. We recommend placing glasses in the top rack of the dishwasher.
• Citrus or citric acid-based cleaners are not recommended as they can damage the glass.
• To avoid watermarks, towel dry handwashed pieces.
